Position Description
- Direct the flow of information between suppliers, foreign offices, and Planning, Quality Control, Product Development, and Retail groups on a daily basis.
- Work with liaison offices and manufacturers to optimize lead time and on time shipping performance.
- Keep the order confirmation process as streamlined as possible. Direct the confirmation of orders to insure best supplier(s) is used for each order.
- Work with Product Development on the new development and new product innovation to optimize cost, product placement, lead time, and quality.
- Creates and implements production tracking formats and reports gathering information from many departments: inventory, merchandising, sourcing, packaging, suppliers, agents, etc.
- Monitors the pre-production activities and reacts to problems. Works with testing, packaging, QA, and traffic to ensure all pre-production activities are completed in a timely manner.
- Collects and reports weekly production/shipping details to ensure on time delivery and communicates to management, sourcing, inventory, buying and all support functions.
- Communicates production status and work in process with agents and internal customers.
- Reviews production status reports and identifies delivery and/or quality problems and determines and communicates the appropriate actions to be taken.
- Monitors production on-site in select situations, and addresses problems at the factory.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years In International Retailer, preferred experience Consumer Manufacturing experience
- Bachelor's degree or related equivalent work experience in an analytical or business discipline preferred
- Strong Communication Skills
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in computer skills; EXCEL, WORD, & Power Point
- Second language preferred.
