- Facilitating working sessions with all levels of leadership to assist with the creation of strategic roadmaps aimed at achieving Division objectives; identifying and aligning both short term and long term initiatives to achieve rapid, incremental and sustainable progress towards Division and eBay goals.
- Create and present executive level presentations clearly articulating strategy, support initiatives and measured progress/status.
- Lead cross functional teams comprised of division senior leaders, business analysts and internal/external partners toward the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships across eBay, removing cross functional barriers and negotiating compromise in support of strategic objectives.
- Facilitate working sessions quantifying business problems, quantifying desired improvement outcomes, identification and implementation of solutions.
- Understand and consistently use business analysis, templates, and related tools to produce timely, high-quality deliverables for initiatives. All deliverables will conform to defined standards, contribute to the project's success, and are effectively used by others in the organization. Current- and Future
- State Process Models, Key Performance Indicators, Requirements, and Gap Analyses.
- Change Management - Consider the cross-functional impacts of change while creating all deliverables and related decisions. Smoothly manage boundaries and hand-offs with business and technical staff as deliverables evolve
- Encourages direct and tough debate and is willing to be influenced
- Lead and directly manage remote teams with diverse responsibilities across the APAC region
- Bachelor's degree in business management or related field or equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
- Leadership experience in driving related Organizational Strategic Objectives is required.
Expertise managing and improving end to end, cross functional business processes at an enterprise level is required. - 7+ years' experience with the following competencies:
·Developing and executing against strategic level initiatives including efforts that may have durations greater that six months and are connected to multi-year division strategies.
·Developing influential business cases based on quality analytics and measured business improvement considering all aspects of business speed, cost and quality.
·Demonstrated ability to execute and deliver on business case commitments.
·Demonstrated relationship management skills; building and maintaining partnerships with internal/external customers and partners, senior leadership, while achieving results through leveraging formal and informal channels. - Work Experience in the following areas:
·eCommerce and Enterprise Business Models, specifically in customer focused areas such as Customer Service or Customer Insights.
·Leading cross functional teams, often compromised of senior division leaders, in the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
·Presenting to and interacting with executive level leadership on long term initiatives, strategic roadmaps and long term business value.
·Business Analysis processes including development of business requirements, business cases, return on investments, cost/benefit analysis and key performance indicators required.
·Formal process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Lean Six Sigma, or Six Sigma preferred.
·Formal project management methodologies preferred.
·Influencing and partnering across department boundaries to integrate cross functional activities and deliver overall value to eBay.
·Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing to ensure clear and timely communication with all levels of staff throughout the company;
·Ability to demonstrate analytical skills and strengths in diagnosing complex problems and implementing solutions
·Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize task assignments to ensure established guidelines and/or deadlines are met.
