• Responsible for the definition of process parameter in order to produce heat-treatable and

non-heat treatable Aluminum plates

• Responsible for the metallurgical quality of the Aluminum plate products produced in the

Zhenjiang plant with respect to standards and customer specifications

• Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Standard Work Procedures

regarding to process parameters and definitions

• Responsible for the metallurgical qualifications of Aluminum plate products
• Responsible for the evaluation of customer specification and standards with respect to

metallurgical performance, quality requirements and applications including consultancy to customers and end-users of Aluminum plate products

• Responsible for continuous improvement of the quality of Aluminum plate products and for the

definition and implementation of corrective actions in case of quality issues

· Master (preferred) / bachelor in metallurgy, material science or comparable

· Several years of experience in a similar position in the Aluminum industry, preferably in the production of rolled Aluminum products

· Very good understanding of material properties and their relations to material composition, microstructure and process parameters

· Sound knowledge of relevant material specifications such as ASTM, GB and others

· Profound knowledge with respect to the application of Aluminum plate products in different industries, knowledge of customer’s demand and market situation

· Knowledge of industrial standards regarding quality management such as ISO 9000 series

Due to the international customer portfolio, sound English (at least communicative level) is highly appreciated
