Job Description:

- Provide rapid application development services, support and various system implementation services independently to both front office and back office users under minimal supervision

- Liaise with traders and business users confidently to determine and analyse business requirements, then propose, develop and implement quick and efficient solutions to meet these requirements

- Assume responsibility for the entire end-to-end rapid application development and system implementation processes from initiation and conception until delivery and implementation

- Manage and mitigate project issues/risks and closely follow action plans until closure

- Provide accurate management reports and periodically document project status

- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that project deliverables are completed in a timely manner

Skill Set Required:

- A university graduate with degree in IT or a related discipline

- A minimum of four years’ IT experience, strong IT background, preferably in an enterprise or global environment using Microsoft Excel / Access / VB / VBA, relational database / SQL, and other web technologies

- Willing to take up development as well as support duties

- Experience with TREATS is desirable

- Working knowledge of treasury products including fixed income, equities and derivatives is an advantage

- Familiarity with business analysis, software design, system support, and implementation concepts in financial applications

- Effective planning, project management and interpersonal skills

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills

- A highly-motivated individual with positive and proactive attitude

- Confident to interact directly with people of different levels and on the trading floor

- Able to operate effectively within a project team and adapt to a quickly changing working environment

- Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese
