Senior Accountant
Reach Logistics is a young and dynamic logistic firm working with R-incubator, a strategic investment firm with operations in several countries. We are currently looking for a senior accountant who will be responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to keep our books properly, analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
The profile of our team of talent is generally young and aggressive with solid experience and/or background in their field of operation. Reach Logistics while being a young startup is gaining momentum everyday thanks to its relentless and creative team lead by a freshly appointed CEO with 12 years' experience as a high profile executive in a 6000+ employee logistic group, where she headed operations for China. Primary Responsibilities
-Reconcile supplier invoices against purchase orders, properly code, and enter into the financial system (General Ledger)
-Reconcile vendor invoices against vendor services and activity, code invoices utilizing the General Ledger
-Manage payments to suppliers and vendors; resolve issues when necessary
-Properly record payments to vendors and apply against outstanding balances
-Ensures accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
- Manage account payable
-Summarizes and analyzes financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts
-Ensures financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
-Ensures all financial reporting deliverables are completed timely
-Prepares financial management reports
-Ensures accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closes
-Resolves accounting discrepancies and irregularities
-Develops and maintains financial databases
-Prepares financial audit schedules with our appointed audit firm
Secondary responsibility
-Ability to support development of presentation slides and analysis when needed will be an asset
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's degree or CPA is a plus
-3-5 years of experience in either field: management of financial systems, accounting, financial reporting, financial data analysis and auditing
-Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
-Knowledge of auditing practices and principles will be an asset
-Knowledge and experience of related computer applications and financial systems
-Fluent in Mandarin, with at least a good level of English
-Previous experience in a logistic firm at an accounting position will be a very strong asset

-Works well in a deadline oriented environment
