职位描述

POSITION PURPOSE

Install, setup & maintain applications, telephony equipments, and computer system in Guangzhou CCC. Assist System Administrator to monitor and prevent computer and network misuse that may result in extensive revenue loss due to system and network outages.


Provide user assistance, troubleshoot technical issues and manages IT Service Now platform for Guangzhou CCC.


Required to coordinate the work of others when is assigned.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


· Computer application installation / System Imaging

· IT Helpdesk Support

1. Identify, research, and resolve technical problems

2. Respond to telephone calls, instant messages, email and requests for technical support

3. Document, track, and monitor all problem to ensure a timely resolution

· Analyze/Monitor system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems.

· Performing routine audits of systems and software.

· Perform system backups.

· Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.

· Installing and configuring new hardware and software.

· Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.

· System and Network security.

· Documenting the configuration of the system.

· Troubleshooting reported problems.

· Ensure that the network infrastructure is up and running.

· Prepare & assist with PCI Audit

· Any other duties that may be assigned by the Manager, Contact Center Technology, Guangzhou Customer Contact Center from time to time.

technical/Job-specific Competency requirements


§ Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 & Windows Server 2008.

§ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products.

§ Basic networking knowledge; Cisco networking knowledge will be a plus.

§ Good technical knowledge of PC desktops and laptops hardware.

§ Familiar with Anti-Virus software.

§ Experience in system imaging.

§ Knowledge of PABX, phone system.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS


Education and Related Experience


§ 1 year relevant work experience for IT Assistant; 3 years relevant work experience for Assistant System Administrator.

§ Diploma or University degree in IT or Computer Science.

§ Ability to read, write and communicate in English/Chinese.

§ Microsoft Certified System Administrator certification will be a plus.

§ Specific interest in the Systems & Technology with practical experience in IT operations.
