职位描述
Responsibilities:
1. Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production and customer requirements.
2. Set the daily finished goods productions schedule.
3. Review new customer demand and take appropriate actions to achieve and maintain 100% customer service.
4. Issue weekly finished goods projected shortage report.
5. Issue the finish goods build-out analysis.
6. Issue monthly excess finish goods report detailing discontinued/slow moving inventory.
7. Establish most efficient running sequence for assembly lines that minimize downtime and overtime from switch overs.
8. Manage new SKU production start-up.
9. Acts as a primary customer contact for matters regarding production status, schedule changes, shipping information, and returned material. May adjust master schedule in response to customer feedback/requirements and manufacturing capacity.
10. Identifies variety of raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production specifications and schedules of diverse or difficult scope and complexity. Supports and collaborate to ensure accurate item master file and bill of material.
11. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed. Evaluates, recommends, and implements changes to the overall planning process consistent with continuous improvement goals.
12. Coordinates cross-functional activities with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, Shipping/Receiving, and Contract Administration to ensure a smooth flow of materials through the production process and consistent information regarding status and priorities.
13. Evaluates materials supply and demands.
14. Provide direction on scheduling and expediting the movement of parts and/or stock transfers to meet customer shipping dates and minimize inventory.
15. Applies continuous improvement techniques and methods to internal processes and systems.
16. Analyzes inventory usage, scrap, and shrinkage. Recommends and implements any appropriate actions to minimize loss, reduce inventory, and/or increase inventory turnover that would support inventory level objectives.
17. Analyzes proposed changes in methods, schedules, and materials. Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
18. Resolves problems concerning over-shipments, shortages, engineering changes, and cancellation of orders.
19. Complies with federal, state, and industry regulations; ensures adherence to requirements and advises management on needed actions.
20. May provide leadership to others in department. Acts as prime contact on high level projects. Establishes goals and objectives required to complete projects. Trains and mentors less experienced employees.
21. Shares specialized knowledge with others. Represents Company on high-level projects. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Work assignments may include cross-functional or project team responsibilities (e.g. continuous improvement).
22. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor of Science degree.
2. APICS/CPIM Certification.
3. 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or in a related area.
4. Fluent in English is a must.
5. Strong leadership skills required.
6. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Analytical math skills.
9. Computer skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Experience with MRP System (Enter the Watts System preferred).
10. Project Management Skills.
11. Lean Manufacturing experience (preferred).
