职位描述

Sales:
? Develop new corporate accounts; videoconference membership, venue partnership programs
? Research markets to identify new business opportunities; negotiating with external service providers and suppliers as required
? Take responsibility for the sales and marketing of the conference and videoconference facilities, including pricing, promotions, image/brand and profile
□ Generate sales volume and value through the development and implementation of a structured, time and target sensitive, sales program founded on the principal of pro-active marketing.
□ Making sales call is a vital part of the position. This is to be a daily activity and a disciplined approach should be adopted at all times.
- Perform sales of Conference facilities including:
? Initial telephone inquiry
? Tour of meeting facilities
? Preparation of quotation
? Telephone follow-up
? Closing of sale and preparation of agreement
- Database management including:
? Meeting room clients (previous and existing tenants) inquires:
? Competitor data base including a complete list of all hotel meeting venues and conference venues and other facilities that offer training, video conference and meeting faciliites
? Market databases including corporate companies, professionals, institutional communities who organise meeting, training and video conference.
? Building tenants and contact points

? Maintains a good professional relationship with all clients
? Coordinate a Client Retention Program for all kind of conference clients.
? Executive Work Plan and Sales Action Plan regularly
? Provide accurate sales report and data to management regularly.

Marketing
? Implementation of marketing initiatives as set out by your immediate supervisor and head office
? Identify local marketing partners for joint marketing programs.

Operations
? Leads by example in maintaining TEC service standards with all customers
- Once a conference location has been secured, a conference manager coordinates all of the various details required to ensure that the event is executed flawlessly.
- Work closely with operation team to ensure the set up is arranged according to client’s requirement.
- Procures the services of vendors to provide the decoration, audio/visual equipment, food, beverages etc.
? Execute organisational and departmental policies and procedures for all matters relating to Conference Sales
? Develops systems for proper communication between departments and clients



Communication:
? Communicates regularly to the your immediate supervisor and other department for the issue directly impacting the Conference Sales process
? Communicates with the Sales team, planning work schedules and developing key working relationships, designed to ensure meeting and supporting the TEC business goals
? Resolves issues & problems through experience & by applying innovative & creative thought to evaluate the pros & cons before making judgments on the best possible alternative. Seek for immediate supervisor’s advice and guidance if necessary
? Provide regular feedback to product line on changing market conditions viz. price, new products, new market competition etc.

Job Requirement
? 5 years of successful sales and/ or event operation experience
? Good interpersonal, motivational, sales skills
? Able to manage, motivate and develop a team of sales people
? Able to build good working relationships with a variety of people – internally with the team and externally with your current and future client base
? Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
? Very good negotiation skills
? Knowledge and understanding of how to market Conference products
