Objective of job

• System support to warehouses operations in and user assistance on warehouse systems to achieve business goals.
• Assistance to the warehouse manager in all IT related tasks (equipment’s, user ID, server, etc.)

Qualification required

• Education
• University degree
• Major in business management, computer applications is a plus (business system preferred).
• Experience
• Minimum 2 years’ aftersales service industry.
• Automotive spare parts service- warehouses procedures and operations practices.
• Training activities.
• Special Knowledge
• Active seeker of information and knowledge.
• Enjoy training other people.
• Persuasive and able to communicate in a structured and logical way.
• Market / customer oriented.
• Familiar with MS office excel, PowerPoint, SQL database.
• Fluent English and Mandarin.
• Practical English and Chinese in written communication.
• Knowledge in end user computing.

Task designation

• System implementation for rollout and new release (warehouse operations systems)
• Check the content of new release.
• Verify and amend the content of existing parameters, documentations and reports to cope with the changes of new release.
• Perform integration tests of the new release on testing system.
• Assist in future implementations of warehouse systems.
• System development (warehouse operations systems)
• Perform quality check and integration test of new release or new functions in warehouse.
• Collect feedback from key users and review the business needs to develop functional enhancements or business process optimization in warehouse.
• System training and deployment assistance (warehouse operations systems)
• Train end users (warehouse staff) and provide deployment support for the patch or new release related to warehouse systems to ensure smooth integration and running.
• Assist on the maintenance of training syllabus, training agenda and user manuals.
• System support and consulting (warehouse operations systems)
• Troubleshooting of system problems and acting as a contact point for the users in order to assist them in getting the issues solved together with the IT 1st level support.
• Consult with warehouse staff and coordinate new warehouse processesset-up and warehouse developments (new warehouse set-up, relocation, extension, etc)
• Writing reports on users’ request, using various IT tools (AUTOLINE Report Generator, Excel,Access, SQL etc.)
• Warehouse IT related tasks management
• IT equipment’s management (Print server, zebra printer, terminal, AP, etc.)
• user ID management for warehouse systems.
• Warehouse IT related planning and reporting
• Planning and reporting for warehouse related IT topics (budget, costs, etc.)

Daimler Northeast Asia Parts Trading and Services Co., Ltd. (DPTS), which was established in April 2008, is headquartered in Beijing and running three operative warehouses in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The headquarter is taking care of the administrational processes, including inventory management, importation, domestic trading, export, customer relationship management, procurement, transportation management, warehouse management, contract management and cost planning, as backbone to the three warehouses which do the physical distribution.

As a 100% subsidiary of Daimler Northeast Asia, DPTS aims to integrate the spare parts logistics supply for all Daimler activities in PR China under one roof, including MB PC, MB CV, MB Van, Maybach and smart. The target of DPTS is to provide MB-Standard service level with cost efficiency by synergies mainly in warehouse, transportation and administration.
