职位描述

University and above with at least 5years related experience in trade, purchasing, etc. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to enable effective communication at the most senior levels. A firm grasp of English is essential. Be an experienced and effective negotiator at an advanced level. Be able to maintain working relationships with suppliers and colleagues at all levels. Be educated to degree level with a slant towards purchasing. Possess a strong understanding and working knowledge of commercial law. Possess excellent analytical skills. Be an effective leader and motivator. Possess strong business and commercial awareness.


The Procurement Operations Manager will work closely with the Regional Head of Procurement Operations and Country and Regional Heads of Procurement to ensure alignment and adoption of standardized support processes.

1. To provide a professional purchasing service, covering a prescribed range of products and services that are sourced on external suppliers. In so doing to ensure total conformance to agreed specifications, obtain the correct quality of goods and services, at the most effective price and within agreed time constraints, whilst safeguarding the entity's legal and contractual position, and observing the highest professional standards and business ethics.
2. In addition to specialist purchasing skills develop maintain and apply expert product and market knowledge and manage help-desk functions, e.g. encoded paper/stationery/office equipment. Team membership for major projects.
3. Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators, accompanied by the appropriate internal control standards relevant to the role;
4.The need to implement the Group Compliance Policy, as applicable to their role;
5. The requirement for each employee to be aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with their role, and to ensure that all actions during their employment with HSBC take account of the likelihood of operational risk occurring.
6. Achieved saving targets.
7. Maintain high level of customer satisfactory.
8. Identify opportunities of any local purchasing collaboration projects with other HSBC entities, lead and implement it.
9. Lead or assist in assigned regional purchasing projects.
