Key responsibilities:

1.Develops and maintains QA systems/quality control procedures & inspection control plans for proper control of new product and packaging.

2.Co-ordinates & supervises quality evaluation, provides QC Engineering tests to support proper ECN change of material / process. Co-ordinates trial run and evaluation to study process capability.

3.Develop and implement quality standards, monitor on quality trends and take appropriate action to drive better product and packaging quality through design, materials, assembly optimization.

4.Participates in design and development process, conducts design review and D/PFMEA for new product, new packing and new process/machine, develop appropriate test protocol and control plan for qualification and validation.

5.Take lead to carries out quality improvement programs and analyses quality problem as they arise and reports inspection findings with recommendation. Requests services from other departments and vendors in an effort to improve product quality.

6.Co-ordinates quality and reliability tests to ensure quality conformance to global quality standard.

7.Participate in the qualification and selection of suppliers and vendors.

8.Carries out assigned COQ and quality improvement program and assists in concerned cost improvement projects.

9.Review the automation machine design and process, ensure the equipment to meet quality and safety requirement, and take lead for qualification and validation.

Requirements:

1.B.A. Degree in Engineering or equivalent.

2.5 years or above experience in Quality Control function/ Product Engineering/Production Engineering, and 2 years in management position.
