Sourcing Executive Needed in a Trading Company in Guangzhou.

We are a Trading & Quality Control company based in Tianhe District, Guangzhou and are looking for a “sourcing” person with about two years of experience in a “sourcing” role. This job is only open for people who have “sourcing” experience working for a “trading company” as this is essential for this job. Experience with products like computer electronics, gadgets, furniture, will be preferable. We are looking for someone with a Positive, happy & ambitious attitude.

Job Location: Tianshou Lu. Tianhe District, Guangzhou (Walking Distance from Linhexi & Guangzhou East Metro Station).
Please note this is NOT a “sales” position with a commission system. This is a “sourcing” position with a fixed salary.

Essential Requirements:
*Minimum two years of “sourcing” experience in a trading company.
*Good level of English is importan
*Good knowledge of excel & word
*Good “internet search” skills are very important in order to effectively find new suppliers & information.
*Good negotiation skills are essential for this position, as it would involve negotiating with suppliers.
Preferable Requirements:
*Some knowledge of the local wholesale markets in Guangzhou would be useful.
*Knowledge of computer electronics & furniture industry would be extremely useful but is not essential.
Job Responsibilities:
*Finding suppliers for given products and negotiating prices with them.
*Doing company background checks to establish reliability of suppliers (Training will be provided).
*Liaising with foreign buyers to ensure that their orders are on track.
*Accompanying foreign clients to the wholesale markets & factories when required.
*Making quotations for products in excel file.
