Job Description:

Manage his/her portfolio:

- Manage and optimize the planning of visits according to trade segmentation, target of visits, sales lead actions and prospection as set by the Sales District Manager.
- Prepare trade visits.
- Communicate on a monthly basis the results to all contracted trade partners in their portfolio.
- Proactively translate the monthly analysis based on the current results, forward bookings, and any other relevant information into commercial sensible sales actions driving the businesses results of trade partners.
- Inform the District Sales Manager on all policy related issues based on market knowledge.
- Manage operational issues addressed by trade partners and provide relevant feedback to responsible departments on a timely basis.
- Actively seek and acquire potential trade partners.
- Negotiate incentives with trade partners under the policy devised by the management.

Monitor and execute sales policies and procedures concerning his/her portfolio in order to contribute to the overall turnover objectives:

- Achieve the sales revenue targets set to their portfolio.
- Monitor and signal to the District Sales Manager the changes in the market and propose actions.
- Monitor the development of their contracted trade partners based on the targets set in the contract.
- Ensure all fares, rules and policies are implemented in the market.
- Coach trade partners on Air France-KLM and/or Skyteam new policies and products.
- Follow up fare control actions.
- Set up action plan with the Trade & Leisure Sales Manager to increase revenue/market share.

Gather and analyze internal and external information in order to provide reliable reporting to the Sales District Manager:

- Evaluate business potential for existing and new trade partners.
- Monitor and report on competitors’ activities.
- Monitor and interpret statistics and if necessary adapt strategies accordingly.
- Monitor and report on own portfolio’s performance and targets.
- Monitor and report on all calls by using SALTO.

Manage the trade partners relationship in order to achieve the set sales targets in own portfolios:

- Build up and maintain trust relationships with trade partners.
- Check the relevance and quality of information regarding trade partners.
- Provide trade partners with the latest information on product updates.
- Participate in all contracted trade partners’ events.
- Contribute to the settlement of any after-sales claims in the shortest time.

Qualifications:

- Experience in Sales, commercial acumen required;
- Experience in Airlines industry desirable;
- Languages: fluent in English and Mandarin, French is a plus;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly MS Excel and MS Powerpoint);
- Required competencies: Stress tolerance, Excellence, Teamwork, Analytical skills, Planning and organizing, Business orientation, Customer focus, Technical/professional knowledge;
- Starting date: May 2013
