Job Title: HSE Engineer
Report to: HSE Manager
Job Summary:
Maintain a robust HSE program for ensuring the compliance with regulations, proper risk assessments for onsite and offsite operations, good HSE performance of our site, and sustainability of our operations. Due to the personnel movement, we currently have a gap in our HSE team that needs urgent attention.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Responsible for the management of the plant fire protection system and equipment to ensure the effectiveness of the fire protection system.
Regularly organize fire fighting and evacuation drills for all employees, train and manage the volunteer fire brigade.
2.Job risk assessment, including organization, planning, and implementation.
3.Contractor management: construction plan review, risk assessment, construction personnel training, approval of relevant permits, on-site supervision and inspection, etc.
4.Responsible for the plant safety management, machinery protection, lockout, hand tool safety, equipment safety and other matters.
5.High-risk operation management: work at heights, hot work, live electrical work, slip & trip & fall , confined space and other element management, including the update of relevant procedures and forms, personnel training, operation supervision and management, etc.
6.Supervision and management of special equipment and special operation personnel. Chemical management including cylinders and chemical leakage drills.
7.PPE management. Weekly HSE knowledge preparation and presentation. SUPER system NEAR MISS processing.
Job Requirements:
1.College degree or above, major in safety, chemical engineering, registered safety engineer certificate is preferred.
2.More than 2 years working experience in HSE in medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, preferably in the machining industry.
3.Good at team work. Good communication skill. Fluent in English reading and writing.
