Duties

    

-          Review Fabric testing report and make judgement.

    

-          Enhance fabric mills quality standard in order to secure passed test result.

    

-          Evaluate failed testing report and provide suggestion to mills for quality improvement.

    

-          Escalate critical fabric performance to Headquarter and follow up

    

-          Support counter sourcing for fabric quality cases

    

-          Fabric approval on critical or marginally commercial acceptance situation

    

-          Work closely with factories for sample approval processing and delivery schedules

    

- Handle daily communication with EU counterpart, work closely with Headquarter Quality Management teams

    

- Price negotiation and critical path management whenever necessary

    

- Responsible for system update to ensure accurate data entry into the system

    

- Carry out efficient filing system for easy access

    

- Carry out analysis on testing results and performance

    

- Occasionally travel to mills for quality problem solving

    

    

Requirements

    

-          Details minded, proficiency in both English and Chinese

    

-          University graduate, 8 years experience in garment merchandising, preferably deep knowledge of outerwear woven fabric manufacturing and fabric mill experience.

    

-          Experience in fabric test management

    

-          Good command in computer and IT system maintainence
