Job description
The Packaged Applications SAP Infrastructure Support team is division within Mars IS responsible for providing expert level support for SAP Infrastructure for the purpose of hosting ERP, BW, CRM and other SAP applications. The team is located in 3 Mars IS hub sites along with an offshore team located at India.

The jobholder should functionally and line manage the Packaged Applications SAP Infrastructure Support team located in ISC Hub site.

Jobholder will work closely with other infrastructure and applications teams to design and implement global standards and will lead the development of strategy, policies and procedures for the SAP Infrastructure Operations.

Key Accountabilities
·         Functional Management
o   Manages Infrastructure level support team for SAP platform located in ISC Hub site
o   Leading the global aspects of SAP Infrastructure Support team related to global standards, policies and procedures
o   Ensure the operational excellence of SAP Platform, managed by the performance metrics
o   Managed the communications and escalations from stakeholders (account managers, COE, application teams etc), ensure that service delivered with high quality
·         Line Management:
o   SAP Infrastructure Support team in ISC
o   Objectives and development plan setting
o   Engagement and motivate direct reports
o   Succession planning and people development
·         Budget Management:
o   Prepare the operating plan and CAB plan in responsible area for Global budget submission
o   Tracking and forecast the spending in ISC Cost centres to meet the financial targets
·         Operational management
o   Review, approve and agree changes with peers and stakeholders. Assist reports to negotiate stakeholders' expectations, timelines and priorities.
o   Serve as a single point of contact for SAP Infrastructure Support team in the respective time zone. Cover for and stand for other peers and global manager during their absence.
o   Maintain healthy level of communication with peers from other regions (Europe, Americas) and inspire team members to follow this approach.
·         Resource Management
o   Reporting / escalation of any bottleneck /delays /business impact.
o   Manage associates and contractors daily deliverables

Technical experience
Technical background in the IT Operations or Development over 6 years plus timeframe, demonstrate strong technical experience with deep understanding on one or more IT technology areas; SAP Basis experience is preferred; team leader or manager experience is a significant plus.
