Job Description
The Impact Project Manager (IPM) is accountable for delivery of infrastructure change projects in the Asia Pacific region, specifically the strategic upgrades and replacements emanating from global development teams (and outsourced business partners).

Project Management
IPM is responsible for projects assigned from the regional program of IMPACT activity. Those projects range from minor changes right up to major projects spanning multiple years. Responsibility for a project requires:
·         understand the demands and conflicts arising
·         reconcile the conflicts across stakeholders
·         align the stakeholders to an agreed plan
·         with agreed priorities and resourcing
·         track progress to plan
·         manage issues
·         escalation of issues as required
·         communicate status in a timely, effective manner
·         communicate consequences and requirements (e.g. budget demands)

Relationships
IPM needs to maintain good relationships with Account Managers, Site Managers, Site Teams, Business Partners (outsourced activity), Central Development Managers and Development Teams.

Development
Contribute to the development of the IMPACT PMO goals to achieve:
·         strong visibility right to the most senior levels of APMT
·         viewed as a partner in managing infrastructure
·         provides excellent governance of infrastructure activity
·         develop project management skills across all levels of site teams
·         communicates regularly and effectively to different levels of stakeholders
·         identify and mobilise opportunity for innovation with infrastructure management
·         ultimately, viewed as adding value to the management of infrastructure

Geographic Scope
The scope of the Impact PMO activity covers Mars businesses across Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and Thailand. Initially, the IPM role will focus on the full range of activity with a limited geographic scope, or, a complete minor project across the full geographic scope of AP. The scope of the role will grow as both the incumbent's skills improve and as the rapid growth of AP businesses dictate.

Budget Management
Manage the assigned budget (for the assigned projects) to match consumption to plan.

Specific Deliverables
For 2013, the following specific deliverables have been identified (it is always possible other requirements will arise during the year):
·         CONNEX - complete the File & Print deployment by P5
·         CONNEX - complete the rollout of Double Take backup solution
·         Project manager for the UJU transition to Mars IS (infrastructure)
·         Launch IMPACT (AP) successfully to the former Wrigley businesses
·         Take on Mars India (from the EU Impact team)
·         CONNEX - continue the Lotus Notes consolidation activity
·         Windows 7 - ensure AP is prepared by P6 2013
·         Windows 7 - prepare AP for a fast rollout complete by P4 2014
·         MS Office 2010 (including Outlook) - deployment
·         LYNC 2010 client - deployment
·         Video room booking migration to Outlook
·         BPOS delivery to Royal Canin (?)
·         iPrint to Windows printing migration
·         Netware decommissioning (archival data management)
The IPM role will likely be across all of these projects with limited scope.

Organisational Reporting
Impact Project Manager is a zone 8 role in Asia Pacific, based in ISC, Guangzhou.
The Impact Project Manager Zone 8 will initially report to Jonathan Chong, Technology Director AP.
