Background:

Asia Pacific Selling support team is a part of the Gum & Confectionary segment support team. We provide different IT services to Asia Pacific Gum & Confectionary sales colleagues. The services including system maintenance; new system design and development; project management; etc.

Mars Inc, has developed a new Information Technology Centre in Guangzhou, China and we are looking for a Team Leader to join the selling team.

Position Summary:

The selling team business analyst is responsible for providing Information Technology services to the sales team. The customer base in Asia Pacific is over 5000, mainly Chinese and English speaking. The role need to understand the business model in different Asia pacific countries, understand the business requirements and develop the solution based on that.

Responsibilities:
1. Support the existing applications. Including system maintenance and problem solving. -Proactive in problem solving and contributing recommendations to both system and business process improvements, while collaborating with Business Partners and other CoE members.
2. Service Management. -Maintain service levels, capable of issue and problem management. And provide process refine and service improvement.
3. Projects Management. -Participating in project initialization; Lead the project planning; Manage the resources during the delivery; Review the benefits after the project closing.
4. Business Analysis. - Works with business users to define and develop application requirements and business process changes necessary to support business processes
5. System Analysis. – Works with other Mars IS teams to define technical specification, database structure, hosting strategy, etc.
6. Develop solutions to business requirements for Mars Gum & Confectionary commercial users.
7. Support and Enhance the processes defined in the Wrigley Global Reference model.
8. As appropriate, makes approved changes to applications to fulfill requirements in accordance with global development standards; depending on the technical knowledge, may be involved in simple coding and/or configuring, testing, and implementing applications (and changes to existing applications) and evaluating their performance.
9. Assists in training customers on new or modified applications; may draft instruction manuals and other documents used for customer training.
10. Performs other projects as assigned by Manager or other senior Wrigley Management.

Requirements:

1. A bachelor’s degree is required, as well as 5+ years experience in IT business systems development and project management.
2. 3-5 years of J2EE experience, familiar with Java, HTML, JavaScirpt, JSP, AJAX and XML
3. Real experience with Struts, Spring or Hibernate framework, and oracle database programming
4. Strong organizational skills, good human relation skills to effectively interact with personnel throughout the Information Technology and customer departments.
5. Good oral and written communication skills.
