PURPOSE:

  

Support tool maintenance activities, Managing tool spare parts, Cooperate with tooling vender to acceptance and manage the new coming tools.

  

 

  

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  

• Participate in the tooling technical feasibility analysis and support tooling quotation technically

• Release DFM, design of tooling (based on 2D/3D-drawings)

• Work together with product designers, to finalize 3D drawings for new products.

• Work together with tooling makers to resolve tooling problems.

• Prepare documentation for internally and externally purpose

• Maintain and secure drawing archive.

• Follow up the new tool manufacture

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  

• 8 years’ experience in injection molding tool manufacturing industry

• 5 years’ experience in 3D parametric CAD-construction (UG, Pro/E, Solidworks)

• Familiar with western tool standard components and Hot Runner Systems

      

 

  

KNOWLEDGE:

  

• College Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

• Proficient in 3D CAD packages such as Pro E or Solidworks, UG and mold flow analysis software packages, Skill on 2D & 3D software for tools design and drawing.

• Demonstrated problem solving skills and a proven record of tooling supplier management

      

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  

• Expert in AutoCAD, Pro-E, Solid word, UG, and general computer skill;

• Proficient user of MS Office, Can understand general English, both written and oral.

• Good communication skill.
