Partner Technology Manager (Windows Embedded) - Microsoft OEM
Do you have a passion for customers? Do you enjoy overcoming technical and sales challenges in order to ensure partner success? As an OEM Partner Technology Manager, you will drive OEM adoption of Microsoft Windows Embedded products and Microsoft technologies, and help OEM partners to build great products in the market.
You will develop and co-own the sales and technical relationships with key OEM partners, distributors and other stakeholders at Microsoft providing a bridge of feedback directly into the product groups and sales teams to ensure the continued success of the OEM business.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive OEM adoption of Microsoft Windows Embedded products into key OEM partners and targeted vertical markets
- Provide solutions to technical issues for accelerating adoption of Windows Embedded
- Build and maintain technical and executive customer relationships with key OEM partners
- Co-Develop partner plans that develop, document, and lead partner, Microsoft and other resources to implement joint long-range strategies for mutual benefit
2. Deliver trainings to Windows Embedded distributors and partners
- Windows Embedded products
- Microsoft technologies
- Pre-sales skills
3. Others
- Capture market intelligence and feedback on products, and provide them to product groups directly
- Write and translate technical documents on Windows Embedded
- Create presentations and speak at various events
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- BA/BS in a technical discipline required
- 3+ years embedded devices and/or specialized systems pre-sales experience
- 3+ years working with Microsoft client and/or embedded operating systems and strong technical understanding of them required
- 3+ years customer facing experience required
- 3+ years experience with one or more of the followings: enterprise/vertical device development/testing, software development, technical support, networking, OEM manufacturing, mobility or server/cloud technologies would be beneficial
- Experience in presenting to diverse audiences would be beneficial
- Knowledge of Microsoft’s products & sales models would be beneficial
Attributes and Competencies:
- Passionate about technology and the embedded and IT industry
- Strong cross-group collaboration and communication skills
- Results driven, intellectually sharp, self-managing and a fast learner
Language:
- Native in Mandarin and fluent in English.
