Responsibilities:
- Conduct biochemistry, molecular biology studies in assay development, studies of mechanism of action (MoA).
- Be responsible for data interpretation and communication within and outside biochemical group.
- Collaborate closely with medicinal chemists, cell biologists and in vivo pharmacologists to speed up the drug discovery process and fulfill BeiGene drug discovery goals.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of cutting-edge science and constantly upgrades relevant skillsets
- Be able to propose targets and initial new programs.

Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or Post -doctoral degree in biochemistry or cell biology related field.
- Strong scientific background with proven track-record of scientific publications.
- Experience with biochemical study design, assay development/validation and MOA elucidation is a plus
- Experience with LC-MS, HTRF, AlphaLisa/AlphaScreen, FP, SPR and ITC is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of oncology and immunology is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivated and collaborative.
- Strong written and communication skills in both English and Chinese.
