PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To secure the right material at the right time in the right place. Use relevant planning tools and systems, execute appropriate process, manage repair centers and control stock movements, so as to secure the availability of material for HWS GSC(Hardware Services Global Support Center) contract fulfillment towards customers, with adequate inventory at a reasonable cost.

MAIN ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve the purpose of this position, assuming the following roles and responsibilities:
· Regular material planning:
Forecast the demand trend, provide repair and new buy forecast to repair centers and HWS GSC purchaser respectively
Material request planning (MRP), based on the monthly forecast mode, present demand trend, stock status and personal planning experience
Generate repair orders and new buy requests based on MRP, trace the orders to return as scheduled, identify and ask for priority
Issue material availability report internally to present stock status and solution, take actions accordingly
· Repair center monitoring and management:
Interface to repair center for any issue coordination and resolution
Repair order handling to make sure repaired units to be returned within scheduled time
Repair center performance measurement based on global standard, and corrective improvement plan follow up
Repair center master table maintenance
Repair center payment request handling
· Process and Tools: Work effectively by implementing the process and fully utilizing the planning tools and information sources

Qualifications

· University or equivalent in business, supply chain or engineering
· Minimum of 6 years’ working experience in supply chain, production planning or material planning in the multinational company
· Good command of written and oral English
· Skillful use of MS Excel/Access
· Experience of using MRPII system is an advantage
· Good communication skill and teamwork player, with data analysis capacity and strong sense of logic
· Good task prioritization skills
