The Product and Applications Sales Specialist
(PASS) for Electron Microscopy (EM) & X-Ray Microscopy (XRM) for Biological
/ Life Science applications is a highly skilled and technical sales
position which relies heavily on technical competence, consultative selling
skills and the use of the ZEISS Sales Process (ZSP) - to meet customer
requirements and individual targets. Success requires strong customer support, for
both product and applications, for the defined portfolio in ZEISS Microscopy. This
requires in-depth technical & operational knowledge of the ZEISS systems, components
& softwares (inclusive of system operation); related imaging / solution
workflows; as well as complex sample preparation protocols. The role is also
expected to stay up-to-date with latest technology, research & market
trends, and take a lead ‘technical’ role in the introduction of new product /
solution / workflows into the Asian markets. The span of coverage for this role
is the entire Asia Pacific region - for both the Academia and Industry markets.
As such, excellent time management skills along with high cultural awareness
& good social skills are essential. At all times, conduct in accordance
with company guidelines and standards is expected.

Requirements / 要求

Master’s
degree or highe, in Life Science or relevant field of studies

Experience / 工作经验

Other skills /其他技能

Existing network in the life science and / or materials research community

Experience in Sales or Sales Support along with an understanding of capital equipment, manufacturing and engineering processes.

Self-starter with very high self-motivation and leadership skills

Superior presentation skills, comfortable in addressing senior / very influential scientific audience

Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills

Ability to work with cross functional teams within a matrix organization
