Description:

· Oversee of tools and molds production.

· Trouble shooting of problems and failure analysis during samples and mass production at manufacturer site.

· First articles inspections.

· Audit of vendor production sites and periodic quality checks (per QA request).

· Support R&D in development of mechanical components and materials.

· Finding and sourcing of mechanical components and raw materials manufacturers and vendors (per purchasing request).

· Support cost reduction processes.

Job requirements

· Education: Academic degree in Mechanical engineering

· Experience:

o Strong knowledge in production of plastic injection.

o Knowledge of the following processes: aluminum extrusion, aluminum die casting, sheet metal stamping - advantage

o Strong mechanical design background and ability to read mechanical drawing.

o Performance of DFM process.

o Production line QA - advantage

o Work in international organizations.

· Others:

o Self-motivated, self-maintained and able to take the initiative to solve problems

o Ability to travel and face vendors

o Ability to work independently and remotely from HQ functions

o Willing to travel abroad including Israel

o Fluent in Chinese and English, resident in China
