We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team. This role will be part of China IT General Function team, an exciting and expanding team provides IT solutions to the bank especially on cross-line-of-business cases..

Principal Responsibilities

- Ensure the successful development and implementation of regulatory projects

- Contribute to the smooth running of IT systems

- Apply specialist expertise in the development of IT systems with the objective of optimizing operational performance and improving quality whilst increasing cost-effectiveness

- With the understanding of bank business logic especially on regulatory reporting related standard, such as 1104, EAST etc. Report the data analysis result to relevant members of the business

- Identifying patterns, trends or even potential issues in EAST data reporting

- Supporting business initiatives without compromising standards of internal control such that operational risk is not increased beyond acceptable parameters.

- Be the partnership of business lines to understand their business aspiration, target and provide innovative solution.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements?

* Over 5 years working experience in banking industry, understand bank business model, products and operations is plus.
* Excellent track record of working experience on EAST reporting.

* Familiar with at least 1 of the data analyst tool, the more the better

- Orace or DB2 SQL

- Python or R

- AliCloud MaxCompute/Dataworks

- Teablue or Qlik Sense Analytic

* A degree in the following subjects is beneficial in developing a career in data analysis

- Mathematics

- Computer Science

- Statistics

- Economics

* An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving

* Sound written and spoken communication skills

* Good command of spoken & written both in English & Chinese Mandarin

* Experience of working with /leading virtual teams across multiple geographies and time zones is plus.

* Self awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development

* Knowledge on regulatory environment (CBIRC, PBOC, SAFE, CSRC etc.) will be an strong advantage
