职位描述
1. Job Purpose
To work closely with RS UK Compliance team to provide products evaluations, technical supports and quality management for Asia based suppliers
2. Key Accountabilities
- Work closely with UK compliance team on product evaluation, technical support
- Support NPI launch initiative for global market
- Effectively solve quality and compliance issues with suppliers
3. Scope of the Role
Accountable for
- High quality of RS Pro products and full compliance in the relevant markets
Responsible for
- Conduct factory assessment according to ISO9001 criteria on new potential suppliers.
- Utilize supplier facilities to perform initial sample evaluations
- Work with compliance team to ensure product compliance
- Perform pre-shipment inspections
4. Essential:
- Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and proficient English writing and reading.
- Good understanding of manufacturing process
- Flexibility and a willingness to take on a wide range of challenges
- Experience working in a global trading environment
- Focus on quality and performance as well as continuous improvement
- Culturally awareness
- Self-discipline, self-motivating, quick learner.
Desirable:
- Engineering degree
- Relevant category or technology knowledge in any of the below sections: Electronics Components, Power & Connectors, Electrical, Automation & Cables, Mechanical Products & Tools, Test & Safety Equipment
- Experience of private label product quality management
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Management for private label products sourcing for a global business.
