Role Title: Software Engineering Manager
Business: Wealth Personal Banking IT
Role Purpose / Description:
· Provide technical leadership, and work with business or product owner, business analysts and various scrum teams to deliver Wealth management projects that aligns with all architecture directions and standards through cross organization consulting and direct involvement in development efforts
· Ensure the solution design and deliverables address performance requirements and reusability, scalability, availability, recovery, integrity and security challenges, as well as business functional requirements
· Lead engineers in various scrum teams to ensure project deliverables meet business needs, time to market and provide timely support of live systems
· Identify any issues that may arise to delivery risks, formulate preventive actions or corrective measures, and timely escalate major project risks and issues to senior management
· Promote and lead the engineering excellent and innovation initiatives in the team

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
· University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a relevant discipline
· Solid experience in leading experienced engineers for the delivery of complex deployment projects and under diversified or matrix structure
· Experience of working in a DevOps focused environment and working in an Agile Team, and knowledge of DevOps tooling such as ARCAD, Jira, Confluence, RTC
· Solid knowledge of the use and development of RESTFul APIs and Microservice, Linux distributed platform, WAS, Oracle, Java, Hibernate, Spring, SpringBoot, Web services, JSON, RMAL
· Solid knowledge of Javascript (ES5, ES6), HTML5, CSS3, React.js, Angular, Redux, Nodejs, npm, webpack, Ajax
· Solid knowledge of SQL, DDL and database design
· Solid knowledge of BDD, Continuous Integration, Selenium, continuous deployment and testing
· Solid knowledge of external cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, or Ali Cloud.
· Knowledge of Investment Products, Financial Planning, Portfolio Management is highly preferred.
· Knowledge of Splunk, AppDynamics, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, and/or Puppet is highly preferred.
· PMP certification or Agile Scrum Master certification is a plus.
· Willing to learn, explore and implement new and emerging technologies.
· Sound leadership, negotiation, critical thinking and time management skills
· Strong Influential communication and interpersonal skills, able to operate well across cultures and in multicultural, diverse work environments
· Superior in relationship management, consultative and presentation skills
· Strong risk awareness on identification, mitigation and control
· Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin is preferred
· Able to work at flexible hour for late evening meeting with colleagues in various regions
· Willing to learn or explore various technologies
· Knowledge of distributed platforms is a plus
· A kind, thoughtful person who people enjoy working with
