As technical leader of NPI program he will need to lead a team of experts from relevant processes competence. This team will need to do the following:
? Clarify customer requirements, make concept and proposal accordingly, communicate with customer if necessary
? Contribute in product and tool design review. Identify the technical risk and control them through Product Creation process.
? Develop the process through whole value stream, verify and improve during trial run
? Lead failure analysis and drive actions from all related parties (ie. process expert, supplier, customer designer...)
? Collect all necessary data and technology know how from Product Creation phase, transfer to Production and prepare for ramp up
Set up learning curve for production ramp up, get it approved by PM, execute shop floor level daily attention and issue solving, make the learning curve happen as planned


Primary Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions:
? Lead process development
Communicate with customer and suppliers to get consensus on process solution
Co-work with ESI team to identify technology risk, perform test/sample plan for early study, lead manufacturing feedback after receiving design concept data.
Manage technical risk, involved in FMEA, lead mitigating actions, monitor risk status and report weekly
Make Engineering plan to plan process development roadmap and activities, which is major input of project planning. Aim of the plan is to ensure all financial targets in quotation are achieved
Lead process development, acquire all hardware and software elements according to Engineering plan, test and improve till ramp up
Lead failure analysis and corrective actions, make lesson learnt from for continuous improvement
Support PQM to negotiate with customer on process limitation
? Program technical affair
Ensure version control is probably done in all processes.
Manage the technical study and decision making on engineering change,
In PC phase, lead version change study, ensure all modification are implemented as required
In ramp up phase, lead necessary control run for ECR, and lead ECN implementation in engineering aspects
Collect, verify and provide sufficient technical details to SAP team for BOM setup
? V&A planning and implementation
Clarify requirements and dispatch to each process, lead V&A planning
Plan and execute build with Project Operation team. Identify the build result according to V&A plan, check product maturity, lead improvement
? Production handover and Ramp up
Lead technical transfer to production plant, plan and implement learning curve, solve the technical issues with relevant engineering team members
