Purpose of the position |
The PM& Marketing Manager – Bulk Gas is responsible for developing and implementing the source and marketing strategy for LLH business in selected and targeted area, deliver and retain our leading position in incumbency or exiting area.
As a key part of strategy implementation, the PM will involve and support the project biding and commercialization process of all the investment business case and all bulk gases supply management for all existing accounts.
And also lead bulk gas Productivity/HPO project to ensure meet LLH target.
Principal responsibilities |
Resource development (main/backup) and acquisition
Cost optimization and profitability management (loss & measure & PI campaign& SPEC identify)
Assets investment and management
Product strategy – PVD (Based on Marketing situation to estimate supply risk and provide delivery plan and mitigation)
Process optimization - Interface/process/DRI
Establish the business process of outsourcing pricing management & internal TP in alignment with other functions
Monitor the market pricing trend, provide regular report and support price escalation to customer depending on market situation.
Develop the master resource planning; especially cross Areas resource allocation under long term arrangement to ensure LLH get the overall max benefit by optimized planning.
Oversight and coordinate the resource allocation on daily operation basis to ensure the optimization and benefits is delivered
Initiate strategic sourcing concept and optimize operating process
Develop and prepare the “emergency supply” plan to ensure the product supply with reasonable cost structure.
Productivity/HPO project deliver
Implementing product sourcing strategy
Marketing survey & competitors trend tracking
Lead internal function team to audit third party sources (regularly/irregularly)
Lead the product sourcing negotiations
Contract standardization both external and internal (price, liability, spec, formula etc)
Monitors and manages product sourcing agreements
Set up the business process of external supplier management
In charge of the wholesale business in areas and streamline the operational process of wholesaling business base on local area
Introduce the BCP of wholesale business to 3rd party and help to improve the operation excellence in Areas
Build the “peer group” of wholesaling business within REA and maximize the value from a cross-area operating platform, i.e. national market intelligence sharing, BCP sharing and customer information etc.

Minimum required qualifications/experience to be considered for this position |
Typically, 5+ years’ experience in Sales, Business Planning and/or Operations
5+ years with industrial gases or relevant industry (chemical) commercial experience
Qualified degree preferably in technical and business areas. Combined areas a plus.
Strong communications skills – can make presentations to all levels of the organization
Able to develop a deep understanding of value drivers for products and their overall impact on business profitability
Team leadership and project management experience
