工作职责:
Tasks
The job holder is responsible for the following tasks
Quality system and standard
- Liaise with IIC QA department, identify and communicate changes in international quality standards, to ensure compliance with internal and customer's quality standards and relevant international regulations.
- Formulate strategies, standards and procedures for IOF quality system, develop QA Manual
- Drive the implementation of key performance indicators relevant to quality management.
- Maintain QA records and statistical information for supplier evaluation analysis.
- Keep an updated filing system for the manual / guideline of each department to ensure Merchandising and QC have the most updated information for daily work including inspection.
Sample making
- Sampling procedure follow-up until pre-salesman sample.
Fitting and sizing for Asia market
- Build up basic block user guidelines to support communication between IIC & IOF / IOF & supplier
- Develop basic block patterns and system of Asian fits, execute fittings
- Pattern making and communicate pattern adjustment to suppliers
- Develop Asian grading system
- Create and control measurement chart
- Create manual guidelines (workmanship standard e.g. sewing, welding, labeling, taping and other manufacturing processes)
Testing
- Supervise and maintain the internal laboratory
- Liaise with external laboratories to execute necessary testing activities
Technical support
- Develop training guidelines with head QC to work with suppliers
- Work closely with merchandising team and Q.C. on samples, inline/final inspections to find workable solutions to quality issues.
- Technical supervision and support throughout the entire process of collection development
Competencies
- Proactive in communication, persistent
- Analytical thinking, strategic in planning, practical in formulation and implementing QA & QC management systems.
- Extensive product and material knowledge as well as manufacturing process for garment accessories.
- Solid knowledge of quality improvement activities, such as Six Sigma, MSA, QFD, FMEA, APQP. Merchandising experience is an advantage.
- Pattern making skills and a trained eye for exact fits, preferably knowledge of European and Asian pattern system/body difference
- Assertiveness to ensure high quality standards
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Good MS Office knowledge
- Knowledge in factory audit, social accountability systems & other safety/regulatory requirements, especially of European and international regulations is an advantage.
