Responsibilities:

  

• Manage the whole manufacturing operations on a day-to-day basis from budget control, materials planning, production scheduling, quality audit to delivery issues;

• Closely supervise production process to fulfill quality standard and ensure on-time delivery of required products;

• Preside over regular production meetings, supervise the discipline of workshop employees, and coordinate production work in an all-round way;

• Manage outsourced suppliers and contractors to suit production needs;

• Lead the procurement team to source quality raw materials;

• Responsible for workshop production safety and production environmental requirements;

• Responsible for continuous improvement of the production process to enhance cost effectiveness;

• Collaborate with related parties in PRC and HK regarding all production issues.

                

Requirements:

  

• College degree in Engineering, Quality Management or relevant disciplines;

• 15-20 years solid manufacturing/operations experience, with minimum 10 years at managerial level in a sizable organization;

• Knowledge in timber or metal prefabrication is a must;

• Good understanding in the drawings;

• Familiarity with PRC safety, environmental and labor laws and regulations will be considered an advantage;

• Strong management organization and coordination ability; having strong experience in 5S and ISO production management and foreign enterprise working experience preferred;

• Good interpersonal skills, proactive and persistent in resolving problems;

• Excellent command of both read and written English & spoken Cantonese;

• Based in Guangzhou with occasional travel to HK head office.
