岗位职责:

Summary of Responsibilities:
？ Carry out hospital policies and procedures,
？ Provide a wide range of health care services and quality of care to patients in clinic
？ Coordinate with nurses, medical staff and other relevant staff, accomplish assigned tasks by head nurse or charge nurse.
？ Assist department in achieve defined goals
？ Competent to perform pre /post ENT endoscope preparation and sterilization, monthly IC culture as meet IC requirements
？ Able to assist in non-invasive procedures such as wound care, eye/nose washing, ENT scope exams, etc.
？ Carry out department and hospital’s policy and procedure properly.
？ Administer non-high alert medications and narcotics after double check and counter signed by higher-level nurse.
？ Competent to provide department environment orientation and fall prevention education to patient independently, home care education and other medical education provide under higher-level nurse’s supervision.
？ Understand clinical goods and consumables management, able to perform department consumables checking and top ups independently.
？ Well know department equipment and response to perform daily maintains and function test, cleanliness when used in direct patient care;
？ Understand department QI and participate in keep quality of daily work base on department QI indicates.
？ Float among various clinical areas where qualified and competent;
？ Carry out other jobs assigned by charge nurse and head nurse.
？ Attend scheduled trainings / continuing educational sessions.
？ Interact with department staff and cross department staff, demonstrate good teamwork and efficiency communication.
？ Professionalism and positive work attitude
？ Competent to assist doctors in carrying out a serial of procedures, including invasive procedures, such as excision, ENT scope with biopsy.
？ Perform and document nursing assessment and interventions in an effective manner;
？ Administer medications safely, and observe the side-effects / adverse events; act according to related policies or procedures when necessary, and document timely and accurately;
？ Multiple task managements and coordinate with cross departments to provide high quality care and service to patients.
？ Well know education materials and Competent to provide all kind of patient education independently.
？ Competent to monitor level I nurse and new nurse’s daily practice.
？ Carry out other jobs assigned by charge nurse and head nurse.

任职资格:

Qualifications:
？ Licensing Needed – Registered nurse in China.
？ Minimal Education Requirement - Associated degree in Nursing.
？ Minimal Experience Requirement:
3-5 years in nursing, ENT/Ophthalmology background preferred.
？ Life supports Certification base on UFH Policy requirement
Complete department orientation and competency evaluation according to policy
Skills:
？ Adequate nursing skills based on clinical needs.
？ Adequate communication skills both in Chinese and in English.
？ Capable to assist physician and provide nursing care to patient independently.
？ Professionalism and positive work attitude.
Knowledge:
？ Understand national regulation and law pertinent to own practice;
？ Understand hospital policies and departmental procedures;
？ Familiar with Infection Control policies closely related to daily practice;
？ Adequate knowledge in ENT/Ophthalmology and general nursing.
？ Understand Department scope of service and clinical workflows
