The Jobholder overall executes the indirect spend procurement activities in category of Site & Maintenance in in the responsible countries of Asia, manages and accountable the service contracts in his/her area of responsibility and support the related investment projects. Experience in procurement of Energy, Waste & Utility is a must.

Function 1: Sourcing

Sources spend segments in his/her area of responsibility within developed sourcing strategies

Conduct negotiations and concludes deals within area of responsibility

Initiates and leads assigned sourcing projects

Implement bundling projects towards supply markets/suppliers

Develops, implements and maintains sourcing strategies within the category

Ensure compliance with Clariant standards and SOPs in the delegated sub-categories

Function 2: Supply Market Management

Monitors and analyzes market development and directs changes. Forecasts prices of strategic spend segments

Creates and contributes to monthly reports about market trends and ensure application in local strategies

Conducts market research and proactively finds new suppliers and alternative sourcing concepts               

Function 3: Business Alignment and Partnership

Ensures the understanding and alignment of related procedure with stakeholders and investment project team

Oversees and participates in cross-functional teams and pro-actively communicates with stakeholders

Actively supports innovation projects and New Business Development activities and ensures Procurement support               

Qualifications:                                                                                                                                                  

Bachelor’s degree or above/ preferable majors in chemical & energy, facility management

Min. 8 years working experience and min. 4 year for MNC

Familiar with energy and waste disposal market

Familiar with MS-Office, SAP, e-auction, etc.
