岗位职责:

Responsibilities/职责:
？1. Familiarity with hospital environment, GZU office systems and codes; general understanding of hospital policies
？2. Assessing designate service division patient and take appropriate actions to ensure patient needs and requirements are met:
1) Follow up with the designate service division patients who consider having further treatment with us.
2) Managing resource utilization and reimbursement for services, work closely with Pre-cert team and help patient to make decisions and choices for insurance coverage and payment scheme
3) Help provider to respond to patient’s medical related request
4) Professionalism in phone call and email; ensure deliver correct information to patient aligned with UFH caring and service standard
5) Assist charge nurses in emails reply, follow-up calls, reminder call etc. as assigned
6) Assist in tracing reports, informing and sending results to the patient as requested by physicians at daily bases
7) Assist patients and physicians in translation
8) Escort patient to exams or treatments
9) BI data collection for nursing QI analysis
10) Assist and coordinate the flow of patient admissions, transfers and discharges
？3. Flexibly communicate and cooperate with patients and staff from different departments or units such as physicians, nurses, receptions, cashiers and pharmacy, so as to develop good relationships with patients and other hospital staff
？4. Assist department meeting: scheduling, organizing and minutes taking
？5. Assist in nursing QI data collection and analysis, folder edit, paper work design, etc.
？6. Report infectious disease to CDC
？7. Provide reports on the circumstances and needs of the patient to the management team
？8. Department-specific responsibilities of care coordinators refer to appendixes
？9. Other duties assigned by senior nurse or head nurse

Other Surgical assistant Responsibilities:
?Surgery coding and price structure for inpatient
?Ward rounding with surgeon and help to improve surgery safety and patient experience
?Coordinate with nurse to ensure all surgical patients have follow-up visits in time and report to surgeon
?Attend the pre-surgery huddle with surgeon and nurse
?Familiarity with OR equipment and the surgical cases in GZU
?Coordinate with Surgeon/OR/Central supply when equipment needed to be rented
?Familiarity with special consumable purchase workflow and tracing system
?Close loop communication and timely update among all medical teams for surgery
?Surgical data collection and analysis for the sustainable development
?Part-time surgeon management and temporary privilege application in advance
?Assist the market promotion of surgical department: new package design, or marketing events etc.

任职资格:

Qualifications:
Education Requirement College Degree in allied health field preferred
Good computer skill

Skills:
Ability to follow protocol, policies and procedures.
Ability to understand medical terminology
Ability to organize and prioritize.
Competence in English and Chinese languages.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with physicians, nurses and support staff, and
most importantly, with patients.
Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving.
Be Flexible, and has strong team player.
Good customer skill with westerners and Chinese speaking patients

Knowledge:
Adheres to hospital confidentiality policy.
Fully understand the operation mental health department
Ability to understand, read and write medical terminology
