Purpose of position:

  

1. A member of advance purchasing team, in charge of integrating the best suppliers align with global commodity into our developments, focus on Marelli Japan new projects development in China as well as support Marelli Japan advance purchasing to promote cost improvement solution/supplier.

2. QCD (Quality, cost and Delivery) objectives can be met, in line with the project schedule

3. Guarantee new sourcing approval procedures are follow strictly.

4. Focus on electrical business line (mainly products is instrument cluster, body control unit) project sourcing, team work to support projects manager to ensure on time development and cost target.

5. Good comminute with core cross function team to win the new business and secure awarded projects into mass production.

    

            

Job Responsibilities:

  

1.Project sourcing, work start from offer, project development till mass production with project teams, R&D, Family buyer, SDE,etc

  

2. Knowledge Sourcing procedure, Management the full BOM RFQs (requests for quotation) and make sure is valid with technical requirement.

  

3. Track all project schedules, BOM cost, assuring that all new projects are in time and without any risk of delay;

  

4. Responsible for sourcing of new parts with global commodity manager;

  

5. Good communicate skill with R&D and project team to promote the solution with purchasing strategy.

  

6. Screen, identity, develop strong local supplier base to support localization target;

  

7. Production supports - coordinate and support supplier issues of payment & delivery etc.

  

8. Support achievement overall supplier quality objectives

  

9. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and internal business controls.

  

 

  Qualifications:  

 

  

1. Bachelor or above, major in electronics or relevant; at least 2 years’ experience in Japanese Company. Sourcing experience is prefer.

  

2. Professional behavior, good communication and negotiation skill, able to manage the conflict;

  

3. Good interpersonal skills, strong business sense and team player

  

4. Good command of Japanese,can fluently communicate with Japan colleagues, Know basic English, CET 4 or above is prefer.
