Position Summary:
Develops and manages all Human Genotyping business in defined territory and where genotyping occupies multiple geographical boundaries that include the defined territory
They are also responsible for maintaining accurate sales forecasts, implementing successful sales strategies, developing new prospects, directing the management of strategic accounts, and developing key account and consortia business plans.
Accountabilities and KPI's
- To achieve territory revenue quota
- To achieve territory growth target
- To achieve territory customer retention target
- To achieve territory customer conquest targets
- To achieve territory Opinion Leader retention goals
Primary Responsibilities:
? Create and present the quarterly forecast for the business
? Directs the growth of business by capturing new accounts/business
? Direct the generation and qualification of sales leads to expand sales opportunities
? Create and maintain relationships with customers to promote penetration, retention and loyalty
? Assist in identifying and mitigating competitive barriers to increasing sales
? Responsible for directing the account management sales resource to best effect in management of consortia deals.
? Responsible for providing market intelligence which influences the direction of organization
? Along with the other Genotyping specialists, provides a framework for the development of the global genotyping business for Affymetrix.
? Develops team working with internal and external customers
? Prioritizes projects and resources based on business strategies
? Leader of company sales operations, policies, and procedures
? Leads and works effectively with cross-functional teams and wider genotyping team.
? Defines and coordinates collaborations with customers to deliver data for e.g. white papers, app notes, protocols etc.
Position Requirements
? Bachelor's Bachelor's or Master's
? 5-8 years professional 8-10 years professional
?Competencies: (skills, knowledge, abilities) Molecular biology
?Results oriented,
?Life Science qualification Program Project Mgmt Experience in Genotyping or equivalent areas
?Experience in large deal delivery and order closing.
?Travel Requirements: As specific territory requires As specific territory requires
