Responsibilities

1. Prepare costing data of metal components and subassembly.
2. Control cost of products, and make sure it will reach the target.
3. Prepare quotation of components and subassembly based on costing, to be validated by Application and Sales Supervisor.
4. Work closely with design engineering team to solve design problem spotted in preproduction phase.
5. Follow up sample progress of components, work closely with production and purchasing team to make sure sample will be delivered before the committed deadline.
6. Support IPQE in PPAP activity, make sure products can be smoothly transferred from sample to production.
7. Manage tooling request with tooling department and purchasing department.
8. Maintain ERP systems for components and subassembly.

Skills

1. Can analyze and solve problem independently with little support from superior.
2. Good time management skill, ensure OTD for project.
3. Good inter-personal and communication skill, can work effectively in a team and cooperate with other department in the company.
4. Experienced in metal fabrication and manufacturing process. Hands on experience with CNC machine and manual machining equipments.
5. Basic computer skills, be able to use E-mail, and office productivity software.
6. Basic knowledge of ERP operation, experience with Baan is a plus.
7. Basic English and technical English skills. Be able to understand English drawings.
8. Be able to communicate effectively in English is a plus.
