QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Polymer, Spinning or Textile Engineering
2. At least 8 years relevant manufacturing working experience in chemical industry, with knowledge in process equipment operation and maintenance, like reactors, heat exchangers, distillation columns, extruders, spinning equipment.
3. Good interpersonal skills and communication and cooperation skills.
4. Familiar with basic statistic tool & analysis.
5. Good in both written and spoken English.
NATURE AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY, AUTHORITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY
GENERAL
1. Understand and communicate current production line capability.
2. Prepare production daily plan for shift teams.
3. Ensure business line, operations and supply chain are fully coordinated.
4. Provide support to daily operations.
OTHER DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES
1. Experience with E&I instrumentation and DCS system is an advantage.
2. Good appreciation for safety, health and environment affairs.
3. Must work well in team environment.
4. Self-motivated and good communication skill.
5. Minimum essential proficiency in English and familiarity with mechanical and chemical engineering terms is preferred.
6. Essential PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) .
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist in monitoring plant performance.
2. Provide advanced troubleshooting expertise as requested to resolve production gaps.
3. Provide input into prioritization.
4. Provides information to accurately allocate losses by root cause.
5. Assist idea originators to collect data and fully scope opportunities.
6. Communicate status of opportunities.
7. Perform formal and assists shift team with simple RCA.
8. Assist with identification/ implementation of solutions including leveraging.
9. Measure working process effectiveness.
10. Define current capability of production area using Operations Excellence criteria.
11. Identify constraints and possible paths to alleviate.
12. Communicate current capability to business line based on production plan and equipment status.
13. Participate in plans to improve current capability.
14. Convert business line plan into daily operating plan.
15. Optimize use of inventory, production capability.
16. Optimize production campaigns.
17. Work with asset availability leader to ensure operating plan and reliability issues are coordinated.
18. Track actual production versus plan.
