General Summary

Be responsible for quality & process technology management to ensure safe operating, product quality and high productivity.

Responsibilities:

1. EHS & Core Value:
- Ensure compliance with DuPont SHE and business ethics standards

     - Take responsibility of process safety management in daily operation, and supervise the conformance of operation discipline in shop floor
- Be responsible for process/ task risk analysis and implement control/improvement to ensure safe operation in production and lab
- Take lead of other safety programs/ plans, as CA or safety audit etc

2. Quality
- Drive the organization’s quality culture, support to develop the organization’s quality competency

     - Organize quality planning and improvement.

- Maintain effectiveness of ISO9001 &IATF16949 quality management system. Conduct regular internal audit in the plant.

     - Lead investigation of customer complaint and internal quality incident, identify root cause, enact corrective and preventive actions and follow up the implementation status
- Follow up customer feedback or complaint, dig out root cause for improvement; and follow up other processes as SCAR, customer survey
- Be responsible for quality performance dialogue in management review for continuous improvement

     - Transfer customer voice within organization, review and follow up customer requirements/specification periodically
- Technical support on AP contract manufacturing??? and product release process.

     - Lead the lab management work to keep the reliability, accuracy of quality inspection system.

     - Lead the quality improvement project assigned by plant leader

     - Contact with R&D/TS&D and other sister plants on test method improvement and uniformity work.

3. Product & Process technology:
- Provide timely and effective solutions to process problems and ensure product quality and production stability for package line.
- Be responsible for new product and raw material qualification through MOC process
- Review up-to-date standard operating conditions and standard operation procedures and monitor compliance in production
- Conduct operators’ key competency or skill training and qualification
- Act as SAP Manufacturing/QM key user on daily operation

     - Take the lead for product launch and scale up in manufacturing site for non-PCF project

     - Initiate engineering improvement/upgrade or new technology introduction through driving knowledge exchange with technology experts to explore improvement opportunities for the business;

- Supports plant in current products quality and technical issue resolution, and in yield & capacity improvement

- Owns and implements DuPont PSM elements, including, Process Technology Package, PHA, Technology MOC, PSM investigations, etc

Qualifications:

1.    Education Background
BS or MS degree in Chemical, Chemical Engineering

2.    Work Experience
3~5 years experience and a good general knowledge of manufacturing and quality is required

3.   Skills and knowledge
- Good quality sense and knowledge Obtain ISO9001 internal auditor certificate. ISO16949 internal auditor certificated is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in compounding equipment and instrument is a plus
- Good interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Good competency of managing for productivity, be able to self motivated with strong ownership
- Good competency of analysis and judgment and time management
- Good verbal and written communication capability in both English and Mandarin
-  Good competency of Quality Tools, like SPC, FMEA, MSA

- Six sigma green belt is preferred
