Position: Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: Guangzhou

Responsibilities:

1.      Ensure the required quality of purchased materials and components (including preventive quality assurance at supplier site)

2.      Overlook the process chain of important suppliers and help to establish procedures to guarantee product quality and process-stability

3.      Consultation and support of quality assurance/incoming goods inspection at EQ-plant

4.      Work out quality agreements and product control plans with local suppliers

5.      Planning and execution of process-/product audits and potential analyzes at supplier site  

6.      Conception and implementation of test concepts as well as development and implementation of supplier development projects

7.      Control of quality records at supplier site

8.      Processing and approval of initial samples

9.      Claim management with suppliers in case of poor supplier-/delivery quality and performance

10.   Work out action plans with suppliers in cases of poor quality and control effectiveness of the agreed  measurements

11.   TaskForce-activities at critical suppliers

12.   Planning and performing of supplier quality days

Qualification:

1.      Bachelor or above, major in mechanical or electrical engineering

2.      more than 5 years working experience in supplier quality function in multinational mechanical manufacturing company

3.      Deep knowledge of process-flows, process-reliability, production and quality assurance

4.      Team spirit and excellent communication skills with internal/external partners (intercultural & cross-functional)

5.      Structured, analytical, targeted and interdisciplinary approach

6.      Dependability, liability, cost awareness

7.      Knowledge of product and process related international and chinese Standards

8.      Excellent English & Chinese in written and spoken

9.      Travel opportunity and willingness to travel
