JOB PURPOSE                                                                

• The scope of the work is end to end tolling manufacturing process, include inbound, outbound and warehousing, contracted vendors’ billing settlement, customs operations monitoring and so on.
• Solve the issues happened and drive a robust and smoothly process continuously.
• Train and educate the relevant 3 BPO (Business Process Outsource) teams members and 3PL on site support team regarding new operational process if necessary.
•  Analyze the relevant cost and drive a cost performance balance logistic system

•   Coordinate cargoes claims/complaints related to inbound shipments and shipping liners , outbound and 3PLs, customs operations and brokers(e.g. claims related to shortage and demurrages)"                                                                                 

 

KEY ACOUNTABILITIES              

• Ensure timely and accurate inbound and outbound delivery of goods, by monitoring and communicating externally with 3PL,customs broker and internally with customer service teams, resolving logistic issues and requests related to product delivery.                                                  

• Responsible for 3PLmanagement, including KPI management; billing reconciliation and payment request settlement.                                                     

• Warehouse management, ensure inventory accuracy. Lead stock counting at Shanghai, work with finance on data variance and reconciliation                                        

• Train and educate BPO (Business Process Outsource) teams for new scout system and process                                                     

• Continuous improvement.  Find improvement opportunity to increase productivity & efficiency in daily operations.                                                      

• Ensure logistics activities are compliant, monitor logistics costs against operating budget for NS site, identifies and resolves cost variance drivers. Analyze the DTW cost, find the root cause for the cost fluctuation.                                               

• Other Tasks assigned by manager: E.g.: consolidate shipment reports from shanghai and Nansha for GC review, assist logistic manager to calculate the DTW cost forecast for Shanghai site.

                                                                                                                                            

REQUIREMENTS:    

•  Bachelors Degree, Supply Chain Management, Engineering preferred.
• Material Management (APICS) courses preferred
• Operations and/or Six Sigma related training"                                            
• 5 years plus working experience area of Manufacturing/Supply Chain Operations
• Previous work experience of working on process improvements
• Knowledge of SAP is an must"                                     
• Good understanding of manufacturing process, 3PL operations, cross border movement of goods, global trade compliance and supply chain process.
• Proven experience leading cost savings initiatives and communicating cost savings achievements.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills .                                   
• Strong communications skills with proven ability to influence multi levels in the organization
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and mobilize resources in a complex environment.
• Strong process & project management skills.
