Job Description:

• Participates in business readiness, requirements gathering and solution assessment phases of an application project for data conversion through post go live support
• Understand and document business requirements for relevant data objects to support the Data Conversion design team for their work
• Facilitation of data mapping sessions with project and BU data teams and document field mappings so that value mappings, and transformation rules can be incorporated into a functional conversion designs by the designers of the application
• Oversee the data resolution activities for defects or gaps identified from validation reports and readiness reports and ensure they are resolved by the BU or through the Instance Data Conversion role for each data load cycle
• Actively work with the deployment team members to answer data mapping or integration questions during each phase of the deployment cycle
• Accountable to ensure completion of legacy to new application Field Mapping Documents in partnership with the BU data team
• Accountable for reviewing Data Readiness against entry and exit criteria for Mock Loads
• Validation of converted/constructed data with BU and Data teams
• In partnership with BU Data Lead, ensures data mapping, data construction, and validation is executed by the BU to adhere to project timelines
• Tracks and monitors overall data conversion progress and manages issue resolution
• Tracks risks, developing mitigation plans, and escalate as appropriate
• Accountable for alignment between the needs of the BU Data Teams and the instance data conversion team
• Ensure data conversion scope is aligned with the BU data team and Instance data conversion team
• In partnership with the BU, set targets and goals on estimates and work effort, ensure and provides that information to the Data Conversion Instance Advisor for execution
• Oversight to ensure data time and resources allocated by the Data Conversion Instance role will meet deliverables

Required Qualifications

·         Bachelor Degree

·         5+ years’ experience of working with business to deliver technology solutions

·         3+ Prior data conversion experience

·         1+ year experience working  on teams with resources spread across the globe

·         1+ year work with  Project Management Methodologies, Tools and processes
