Anantara Vacation Club China (below called AVC-CHINA) BD team seeks to create value-added and sustainable win-win partnerships that protect and strengthen AVC’s reputation, brand, and business. This is achieved through creative development of marketing and sponsorship programmes, management of partner and business unit relationships, and creations of new partnerships aligned with AVC’s business and strategic goals.
The remit of this role is to assist the Director of Business Development, China with the development of new marketing partnerships/strategic alliances in mainland China for promotions supporting inbound calling activity at the Call Centre for “Preview Channel” campaigns.
The Manager is expected to be a self-sufficient and self-driving individual contributor who can actively develop relationships and engage with both external partners and internal key stakeholders. He or she is also expected to support functional leadership in providing sound analysis and recommendations to facilitate internal proposal evaluation and decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create and execute Partnership strategies aligned to overall business goals. Assist the Director of Public Relations, Digital & Partnerships with development of Budgeting, P&L Goals & company financial objectives
· Establish a local vision for future of China Partnerships and ensures it is cascaded through performance management and development processes
· Working closely with Corporate Alliance Team to develop strategy for sub-family aligned to organizational goals
· Secure data sources from demographically aligned partner databases
· Develop detailed marketing plan, campaign calendars and preform as for preview channel and drive the execution
· Uphold brand guidelines for approvals and compliance on all related marketing materials
· Working closely with China Digital Marketing Manager and China Public Relations Manager, enforce brand awareness and positive digital media presence. Maximize the opportunity to maintain and upgrade AVC brand awareness
· Liaison with advertising agencies for project coordination and execution of consistent & high quality collateral development
· Maintain reports of all marketing business data points relative to scope of this role
· Answer to all partners/clients inquires timely, ensuring only relevant and accurate information have been released to the press
· Coordinate and well handle all partners/clients accommodation and site visit requests
· Ensure all company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to financial record keeping, money handing and licensing are adhered to, including the timely and accurate reporting of financial information
· Maintain complete records of all alliances and purchase agreements, contracts and quotaes
· Exercise responsible management and behavior at all times, positively representing the management team and AVC brand image
Other Duties:
· ? Knowledgeable in statutory legislation in employee and industrial relations
· ? Ensure high standard of personal presentation and grooming
Job Specifications & Qualifications:
· Excellent business development, partnership development skills, including presentation development, negotiation, excellent verbal and written communication skills etc.
· Bachelor degree. More than 3 years’ experience in Marketing Alliance or Business development roles, good at developing new relationship
· Good computer skills and English communication skills
· Able to work and learn quickly and accurately in a high volume environment
· Able to perform well under deadlines and respond well to an environment of constant change. Has good business sense and understand ROI and efficiency management.
· Cultural sensitivity to regional differences in business development within China mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
· Ability to develop detailed preform as based on detail analysis of technical campaign initiatives.
· Excellent communication in Chinese and English.
