Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage the sourcing business based customers.

2. Lead the team of the merchandisers to troubleshoot any vendor issues.

3. Ensure appropriate and timely production placement decisions are made.

4. Support cost negotiations based on an in-depth understanding of component pricing.

5. Establish the long-term business relationships with customers to maximize business growth.

6. Supervise the merchandising activities of the team in the entire order process.

7. Provide advice and suggestions on product design.

8. Enhance service delivery and operation efficiency.

9. Build and maintain a strong vendor matrix for product development and production.

10. Research and identify suitable product and market trends.

Job Requirements:

1. University graduate with 5-10 years of experience in merchandising, preferably with a major international retailer or buying agent. Ceramic tile sanitary ware experience perfer to consider.

2. Knowledge of suppliers and factories. Able to discern performance differences between various manufacturers.

3. Able to identify creative alternative solutions to solve problems and meet product objectives in quality, delivery and price.

4. Understanding of specifications, components and construction. Technical knowledge is required.

5. Highly motivated with high sense of urgency and initiative. Takes ownership.

6. Well organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem solving skills, able to meet deadlines

7. Ability to build strong relationships with the team as a good team leader, communicate effectively with internal and external parties.

8. Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded.

9. Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

10. Excellent command of English and local language.

11. Travel is required.
