About Client Success Account Manager, Small and medium enterprises (SME)

You will act as a trusted commercial partner to empower our self service B2B clients to continue to transform their business and meet their objectives through Meltwater solutions. You will be responsible for managing commercial conversations (including contract renewals and upsells), and developing strategies to drive portfolio growth for self-serve B2B clients in Greater China. You will coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Sales, Marketing, Support, etc.) to deliver a world class experience for our self services B2B accounts.

The ideal candidate with experiences in Sales & Client management will thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment while managing the full client life-cycle. Demonstrated success in exceeding objectives and communication will be key in this challenging role.



What you will be doing?

  • Own and manage the success of over 90 self service B2B accounts, to ensure we increase revenue and drive that portfolio to be a strategic part of the Meltwater Greater China business
  • Develop individual account expansion strategies to hit the renewal and upsells targets
  • Maintain and report forecast of renewals for your portfolio
  • Guide new clients to utilize the self serve training platform and support resources
  • Analyze data and trends to discover and identify the upsell/cross sell opportunities within your client base
  • Through understanding the changing needs of clients, identify and drive potential growth and cross sale opportunities within your portfolio
  • Utilize client usage data, health indicators, and growth opportunities to formulate sales strategies and serve as the client's voice to drive continuous improvement for our platform and solutions



We would love to see…

  • University Degree of any disciplines with strong academic results
  • At least 2 years of experience in Client Relationship Management / Account Management / Sales Management / Management Consulting / Client Servicing
  • Fluency in English and native in Mandarin is a must
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and forecasting skills
  • Outstanding conflict resolution, problem-solving and consulting abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, client-centric environment
  • Ability to analyze data to drive decision-making and recommendations
  • A positive, target driven individual with natural leadership qualities
  • A passion for entrepreneurship, value building and customer excellence
  • Openness to feedback and dedication to consistent self-improvement
