职位描述
POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for develops, tracks and analyzes key performance and quality indicators/ metrics and develop action plans to respond to observations and trends in supplier quality aspect. Provide technical support to sourcing department. Provide suggestions in developing existing supplier quality control system. Analyze testing results and identify defects. Provide technical guidance and training to engineers and technician.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·To support sourcing team to develop suppliers, and support export and domestic programs,
·Be responsible for the development/assessment of supplier quality system,
·Play a strong liaison role between suppliers and Magna facilities to ensure program is successfully launched.
·Periodically audit the existing supplier performance & continue to improve the product quality to drive for continuous improvement in quality/cost savings program.
·Working closely with local and global team, communicate and provide technical support to solve the quality issues.
QUALIFICATION
· BS or above of mechanical engineering or any other related technical disciplines.
· At least 8 years working experience, and at least 3 years experience as production or process Engineer for injection molding, stamping parts or other commodities,
· Comprehensive knowledge of Quality Control management standards and procedures including Total Quality Management, TS16949 etc.
· Proficient in quality tools such as SPC, DOE, FMEA, PPAP etc.
· Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or TPS.
· Self Motivated, result driven /goal oriented with customer focus and sense of urgency.
· Strong project management skills, time management skills, influencing and communication skills are required.
· Be able to read blue print.
· Good computer skill, and sound presentation skills at all levels.
· Good English skills (oral & writing communications).
· Frequent Travel in Asia is required.
