The KPMG Delivery Centre (KDC) is a captive shared service centre which employs a cost-effective, efficient approach to the delivery of front- and back-office support services within KPMG China. You will be involved in a diverse and interesting range of assignments from assisting in due diligence for our clients’ outbound and inbound investment projects, and promoting investment advisory solutions to companies (private equity funds, stated-owned enterprises, and multi-national enterprises).

KPMG Transaction Services (“TS”) team provides M&A support from pre-deal evaluation to completion and post-deal integration or separation. We help our clients to identify opportunities and risk in their acquisitions, disposals and JVs and assist with buy-outs and IPOs.

Responsibilities

- Understand transaction process, deal logic and critical issues to provide quality translations from English to Chinese (particularly outbound investment due diligence engagements)

- Communicate to better understand the detailed contents of their deliverables

- Perform preliminary financial data processing (e.g. preparation of data book, graphs and charts, etc.) 

- Perform substantive checking 

- Perform report checking (casting, cross-checking, etc.)

- Learn and deploy data processing tools including but not limited to Excel, Tableau, Alteryx

- Ensure the compliance of internal and statutory requirements when carrying out assignments

- Assist in other administrative work and ad-hoc tasks

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree, numerical related majors with good English, or majored in English / Translation would be an advantage

- Good command of Chinese and English

- Good business and technical writing skills

- A basic understanding of the principles of accounting and finance, and knowledge of the Chinese and the global economy would be an advantage

- A self-motivated team player; Willingness to work as part of a team to meet aggressive deadlines in a fast paced environment

- Good verbal and written communications skills

- Good analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills

- Good attention to details

职责

- 理解并购交易的流程、交易逻辑及关键问题，提供高质量的英中翻译（尤其是跨境投资的尽职调查项目）

- 与毕马威咨询前线服务人员进行沟通，以更好地了解对方提供的汇报资料

- 对财务数据执行初步的处理（例如编制数据簿、根据数据趋势制定分析图形、图表等）

- 执行实质性检查 

- 执行报告检查（包括数据正确性复核、报告上下文引用复核等）

- 学习并使用数据处理工具，包括但不限于Excel，Tableau，Alteryx

- 在执行项目时确保遵循公司内部及法定要求

- 协助其他行政工作和临时任务

要求

- 本科以上学历，英语能力较好的具有数据分析背景专业优先考虑，英语、翻译或相关专业优先考虑

- 掌握良好的中、英文

- 良好的商业及专业写作能力

- 基本了解会计及财务原理，对中国及全球经济知识有基础的优先考虑

- 团队协作精神；能够在面对时间压力的情况下完成工作

- 良好的口头沟通和书面表达能力

- 良好的分析、交际及组织能力

- 注意工作中的细节
