1. Manage all IQC, IPQC and OQC work that is assigned to the group.

2. Manage all the QC staff assigned, including oversight of technical work, suggestions for training, periodic appraisals, promotions, salary increase suggestions, discipline, and other personnel matters according to the rules of company within the department.

3. Relay information from GM and other Departments to QC Staff.

4. Relay information originating in QC Staff upwards to GM, Personnel Dept and other Departments if necessary. This is especially true in regards to work that is very well done and work that is very badly done.

5. Complete the QC process on all incoming parts in a timely manner (less than 10 days) and record all findings (OK or not OK) in a clear record.

7. Report periodically to the GM according to the reports currently required.

8. Sign and date, by hand, all reports that the QC Dept is responsible for.

9. Abide by all the rules and collection requirements from the Document Centre.

10. Maintain the quality, cleanliness and existence of all calibration tools under the QC Department, as per the Calibration Tool List. Report when a tool becomes unusable or for any reason needs to be replaced.

11. Honestly andefficiently decide if a part is acceptable or not and, if not , why not? Be prepared to give a suggestion as how to improve a part and how to discuss the problem with the supplier. Be clear as to what criteria were used to judge the validity of a part.

12. Never show any favour or give any preferential treatment to any supplier. Unless absolutely necessary, it is better not to have any direct dealings with any supplier, and not to allow any supplier to physically enter the QC spaces unless it is for a demonstration of why a part has failed, using a piece of equipment which cannot be moved.

13. Be aware of the latest technical developments that relate to QC work.

Requirement:

1. College graduated, majoring in Mechanical;

2. Experience in TQC (Total Quality Control), eg, ISO9000 Project.

3. English skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

4. 3 years or more Mechanical work at least.
