Main responsibilities:

1. Supplier qualification (Iso 9001, PED...), qualification documents/file

Get the necessary documentation from the supplier to include in the KSB supplier list.

Check this documentation and forward it to KSB.

Check calibration of the measuring instruments.

Check qualification of personnel.

Supplier audit

2. Validation of prototype:

Receive plans and control reports from the supplier.

Validate feasibility of implementation and identify particular points requiring supplier's attention or potential difficulties for implementation.

Inspection of prototypes at the supplier’s premises, identification of deviations and corresponding non-conformities

Transmission of statements to LRC for analysis and decision         

3. Validation of serial parts:

After validation of the prototype, control of the pre-serial parts,

Monitoring of serial parts

Formal and documented validation.

4. Monitoring of manufacturing process, inspection at supplier’s premises:

Control of first orders at supplier’s premises and validation of control process.

Identification of deviations from plans and specifications

Audit of a process following major or repetitive non-conformities

Monitor the supplier's performance indicators (rate of non-quality, response time for corrective actions)

5. Packing:

Verification of packaging in accordance with the specification

Make a report with photo to validate the packaging.

6. Management of non-conformities and improvement actions:

Identify supplier non-conformities

Answer directly to requests for derogation or with the assistance of the LRC team

Preparation with the supplier of a progress plan to identify the problems but also the corresponding corrective actions. Monthly review of this progress plan.   

7. Certificates and documentation ;

Ensure that supplier certificates are forwarded to KSB LRC

Verify that requested control reports are in conformity     

8. Communication with KSB LRC :

Communicate control results

-prototype

-pre-series parts

-inspection report

-supplier's progress plan       

9. Orders follow-up and respect of deadlines according to the needs of FLEX procurement department

Required position profile:

General training / professional training: Technician (production management, quality, computer-integrated manufacturing…)

Specific expérience: Control of industrial processes and continuous improvement and supplier management

    

Knowledge requirements : 

Non Destructive Examination level 2 control tools

Current standards, specifications and procedures

Foundry processes, stainless steel, cast iron, cupro...

Machining, cutting and sintering processes

Pneumatic knowledge

Mechanical design, functional dimensioning

Continuous improvement techniques and Continuous Improvement Green Belt Level methodology.

Office software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook),

Supplier Management
