职位描述

Principal Accountabilities



·Respond to inquiries from customers, distributors, Regional Sales Managers, Sales Engineers, and Sales representatives regarding all "post-order' aspects of the customer or distributor's orders.

·Responsible for sales order entry. Coordinate with Demand and Logistics after sales order has been entered on activities such as return goods authorizations, replacement orders, expedites, invoicing, shortages, incorrect shipments, tracing shipments, etc.

·Coordinate with Finance for cash-in-advance and credit hold orders.

·Exercise judgment and take appropriate action regarding customer and sales force requests on most problems dealing with customer and distributor post-order needs, and resolve at maximum profit to our operations and service to customers.

·Coordinate with Inside Sales Representative after customer order has been placed, on activities such as special pricing, quotations, samples, new products, return goods authorizations, replacement orders, stock rotation, special pricing, minimum order pricing, expedites, etc.

·Perform other appropriate functions as directed or requested



Nature and Scope




Reporting to the Customer Satisfaction Supervisor, the Customer Satisfaction Representative has the primary responsibility of assuring that all domestic and international customers and distributors have received all necessary information, order acknowledgements, shipping documents, sales invoices, payments, and their questions and concerns have been addressed.


The Customer Satisfaction Representative must respond to inquiries from customers, distributors and sales force regarding all "post-order' aspects of the customers or distributors orders. Once the order has been received, the Customer Satisfaction Representative will be responsible for follow up and for ensuring timely shipments to the customer. These duties must be done in a manner that will display the utmost responsiveness and professionalism.

The incumbent must be able to work with people at all levels of every organization he/she interfaces with. Internally, the incumbent will work with sales and marketing, engineering and product design and other Bussmann teams as required. Some travel to distributors, field sales offices, and vendors may be required.


The incumbent is required to issue reports, therefore they are expected to have knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.




Minimum Job Requirements



The minimum requirements for this position are a college degree in business or marketing or a high school diploma and minimum 3 years of customer service experience.
